Lee Donzel Thompson

COLUMBIA—Lee D. Thompson, 84, of Columbia, formerly of St. Albans, WV. He proudly served in the US Air Force and was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church. Surviving are his loving wife, Loretta Moore Thompson of 56 years; son, Layne E. Thompson (Bonnie) of Charleston, SC; granddaughter, Grace; grandson, Jackson; nephew, Warren Moore (Elaine) and their sons, James & Nick. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 3, 2017 at Spring Valley Baptist Church, 91 Polo Road, Columbia, SC 29223 with Dr. Robert Winburn, officiating.Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to at Spring Valley Baptist Church Music Department, 91 Polo Road, Columbia, SC 29223.
