Dwight Earl Stallings

COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Dwight E. Stallings, 60, of Columbia, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. The family will greet friends from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Stallings, beloved husband of Rebecca “Becki” L. Kilpatrick Stallings, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017.Born in Raleigh, NC he was the son of George Bryant Stallings and Margie Elizabeth Garner Stallings.Dwight was a graduate of Irmo High School. He retired as a legend after 41 years of dedicatedservice with Shaw Industries.Dwight looked forward to spending time with his family, especially his brothers. His favorite things in life were his wife, his fur babies, golf and hanging out with all his wonderful friends and customers at One More Grill and Pub, which he and his wife Becki has owned for 18 years. Surviving in addition to his wife of 19 years, Becki Stallings of Columbia and parents, Bryant and Betty Stallings of Carey, NC; brothers, George Bryant Stallings II (Amy) of Brentwood, TN, Maxwell Garner Stallings of Johns Island, SC and Paul Graham Stallings (Susan) of Apex, NC; 12 nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Mr. P.Nut, Jumper and RatCat; and his best buddies whom he considered as his brothers, Butch Caywood and Dan McCaw.
