IRMO—The funeral service for Angela “YiaYia” Wynn, 83 of Irmo, will be held atWednesday, May 4, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.Burial will be at Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Michael A. Platanis. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. followed by a 12 noon funeral service. Born in Sparta, Greece, she was the daughter of the late John Aposporos and Helen Kapakos Aposporos.Angela came to the United States at age 16, lived and worked in Connecticut. Moved to Irmo in 2000 with her son, Jimmy and daughter-in-law, Cindy and helped raise her two beloved grandchildren. Surviving are her son, James Wynn and wife, Cindy of Irmo, SC; daughter, Margie Wynn of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Lexi, 17 and Dimitri 12; siblings, Pauline Gallagi of Wallingford, CT and Maria Koutrakos of Greenville, SC.
