William "Sandy" Alexander Reese

LEXINGTON— William “Sandy” Alexander Reese, 53, of Lexington passed on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland hospital after battling health problems for many years. He is survived by his son, William Henry Reese of Columbia; daughters, Bailey Lanier Reese of Walterboro and Mackenzie Alexandra Reese of Green Bay, Wisconsin.He is preceded in death by his parents, Col. Henry W. Reese and Shirley L. Reese. William spent time as a U.S. Marine and as a SC State Trooper.He loved the water, boating, sports and the Carolina Gamecocks. We want to especially THANK his friends since early childhood, Todd Weatherford and Chuck Suddeth.You faithfully cared for and look after him until the very end.Suchfriendship is rare in this world and words cannot truly express our gratitude. There will be a private family service. Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family.
