William E. O'Rear

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of William O'Rear age 44, of Irmo, SC who passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021.He was born in Columbia SC on April 18, 1977. He attended Irmo Elementary, Irmo Middle, and Irmo High School.He loved Soccer and played Soccer for his school.He was an electrician by trade. He was married to Racquel Marti-Lynn Knott on November 24, 2002 and had three beautiful children, Miranda Nicole, Morgan Riley, and Michael William.He is survived by his mother, Brenda Bass and step-father, CT Bass; his children; his sister, Tonya; and brother, Chris; his loving Aunt Kay and Uncle Brad, Uncle Woody and Aunt Holly, and his cousins Ben, Adam, Thomas, Josh, Evan, and Korey. He was a loving son, father, husband, and friend to many who has left this world far too soon and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service for William Eugene O’Rear, 44, of Irmo, will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel at Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The Reverend Mark Powers will officiate the service.The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. inside the Mausoleum Chapel at the cemetery.
