William Christopher "Chris" Herron-Stowell

William Christopher "Chris" Herron - Stowell, 52, of 126 Jefferson Place passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Donnie Herron, Donna Mathias and James Stowell. A graduate of Irmo High School, Chris was a proud member of the marching band. He was a talented drummer, a gifted artist, and a skilled craftsman. Chris worked with his family at Mathias Sandwich Shop where his larger than life disposition will be missed. Chris was an extremely loving person whose devotion to his family and friends was unending. His luminous personality will never be forgotten. Surviving are his daughters, Amanda Meredith (Philip), Chelsea Simpson; brother, Mr. Jack M. Herron; sisters, Amber Davidson (Brian), Barbara Ann "Sissy" Stowell; and niece, Lindsay Herron. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018, at TemplesHalloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
