William C. Hall, Jr.

William “Bill” Clifford Hall, Jr., 90, of Columbia, SC, passed away on January 4, 2023, at his home. Bill was born on August 3, 1932, in Jenkinjones, West Virginia. Bill was predeceased by his parents, William Clifford Hall, Sr. and Eva Robertson Hall; siblings, Patricia H. Bruce and Carolyn H. Dillard; and stepson, William James Starnes. He is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Hall; daughters, Melissa H. Little and Carolyn H. Thacker; son, William Clifford Hall, III (Tracie); adopted grandson, Dr. Jonathan Hall (Jessica); in addition to a large family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Hall, along with his wife, owned and operated Holiday Realty (Holiday, Florida) for many years before moving to South Carolina where they owned and operated Southeastern Mortgage Services (Columbia, SC). Bill was an active long-time member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church and was a member of the Gideons International. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212, with the Reverend Bill Haselden of Riverland Hills Baptist Church officiating. The Hall family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home preceding the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Gideons International (www.gideons.org).
