IRMO— Virginia Chaires Meadows passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 92.Virginia was born on September 1, 1926 in Hennessey, Oklahoma. Virginia met her late husband, Mr. Marvin M. Meadows, at the PX located on Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma during WWII. Virginia loved caring for her family and friends.She also enjoyed needlework and was an avid sewer. Mrs. Meadows is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Bramblett (Richard); sisters, Carmelita Pruett (John), and Dorothy Van Riper(Sam); grandchildren, Matt Bramblett (Leigh), and Jeff Bramblett (Maureen); and great grandchildren, Mary Bramblett, Lilli Bramblett, Rachel Bramblett, and Lauren Bramblett LeValley (Andy).Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed by many. In addition to her husband Marvin, she was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Betty Rodriguez Chaires. A graveside service for Mrs. Virginia Chaires Meadows will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, S.C. 29212.Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family.
