COLUMBIA—Virginia Graham Danford passed away peacefully on October 7, 2015.Known as Jenny to her friends and MawMaw to just about everyone else, she was born on May 19, 1925 in Coosa County Alabama, daughter of the late Edwin Dwight Graham and Annie Burks Graham.She married James Walter Danford, Jr. and they had three children.Walter and Jenny eventually moved from Alabama to South Carolina and remained residents until their deaths. MawMaw was a force of nature, full of spitfire and grit.Her indomitable spirit outlasted her physical body and will live on in her legacy of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.MawMaw was predeceased by her husband, Walter, her son, Walter Graham Danford, her grandchildren, Kirkland Dean Price and Jenny Darlene Danford, and her beloved brothers, Dwight Denson Graham, Gordon Ray Graham, Edwin Harlan Graham, Burk Martin Graham, and Charles Everette Graham. She is survived by her children: Michael Everette Danford (Linda), Larry Kent Danford, Sr.(Lois), and her daughter-in-law Yvonne Danford; her 11 remaining grandchildren:Amber Player, Brook Whitworth, Cam Frier, Daye Danford, Samantha Ammer, Larry Kent Danford, Jr., Robert Danford, Jennifer Lindler, Catherine Danford, Jamie Danford, and Holly Coker; and her 14 great Grandchildren.MawMaw lived for family.Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.They will now live for her, blessed with the beautiful wisdom and memories she gave them during her 90 years on this earth. Family visitation will occur between 10:00 am and 11:00 am on Satuday, October 17, 2015 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with a memorial services at 11:00 am in the funeral home Chapel, with a graveside service immediately following in Bush River Memorial Gardens.
