Tommy Rudy Young

A Service of Remembrance for Tommy Rudy Young will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church, 230 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC, 29210. The Reverend Doctor Ronald “Dee” Vaughan will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Tommy was born on January 18, 1934, to the late Mottie M. and Rosa B. Young in Gastonia, North Carolina. He passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 89. He was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church. Tommy will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Jewel B. Young; daughter: Cindy Young; and his son: Russell D. Young. His brother, Buster Young, preceded him in death.
