LEXINGTON—Funeral services for Thelma Dolores Kirchenstiner, 90, of Lexington, will be held at11:00 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.Reverend Mitch Houston will officiate. Entombment will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. - 11a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Kirchenstiner, beloved wife to the late Frank Kirchenstiner, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015.Born in Turtle Creek, PA, she was the daughter of the late Martin Harvey and Alice Hall Harvey. Thelma and her late husband of 69 years, Frank were avid square dancers and Thelma enjoyed bowling for much of her life.While living in Pennsylvania, she assisted her husband in building their own home.Thelma was a dedicated wife, mother, and devoted grandmother who will be remembered for her creativity in and out of her home.Her family came first! Surviving are her daughter, Karen K. Raisley and her husband, Richard of Chapin; grandson, Christopher Raisley and his wife, Melissa Starr of Lexington.She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel and sisters, Lois, Blanche and Laverne.
