Susan Frost Derrick

Susan Frost Derrick, 86, of Irmo, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. A private memorial service for the family will be held. Susan was born in Columbia on June 12,1938 to Benjamin Cook Frost and Sue Stokes Frost. She graduated from Dreher High School (Class of 1956) and attended the University of South Carolina. She was the co-owner of All Seasons Garden Center. She was a long-time member of Union United Methodist Church and the John Rowland Sunday School class. She served in many organizations throughout her lifetime, including being a member of the American Cancer Society and the Lake Murray Irmo Women’s Club, where she also served as president. She is survived by her son Benjamin Curtis Derrick (Lynn); daughter Debbie McIver (Wes); and her grandchildren Kaitlyn and Kellyn Derrick, and Kolby and Bryce McIver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Derrick and her daughter, Ellen Craney, as well as her faithful furry companion Bella.
