CHAPIN—A Mass of Christian Burial for Stanley F. Pace, 77, of Chapin will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.Interment will follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens.The visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Stanley was born on November 3, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Stanley Joseph Pace and Valerie Anna Sestokas Pace.He passed away on October 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.He was an altar boy in his church when he was in middle school.Stanley retired as a supervisor from AT&T after 27 years of service.He received his Associate’s Degree from NASSAU Community College and his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Hofstra University. “Stan” was also known by his family as Pop-Pop. His hobbies included building wooden boats along with collecting and restoring classic cars.Stanley was a member of the Sandlappers Classic Car Club and Antique Auto Club.He volunteered at his church Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church andwith Families Helping Families. He will be missed by many Family members and friends. Survivors include, his loving wife of 36 years Charyl L. Pace,of the home;his children, Jennifer, Christopher, and Erin; sister, Valerie; 5 granddaughters, one great-grandson and 3 nieces.He was preceded in death by his parents and one step-son, Brian.
