Stanley Marshell Geddings, Ii

Stanley Marshell Geddings, II, 14, of West Columbia, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023. Born on August 13, 2008, in Manning, South Carolina, he was the son of Jason C. and Samantha J. Geddings. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Edge Church, 3220 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. Pastor John Lastinger will officiate. Stanley was a student at The College Center in Lexington School District 1. He was one of only eighteen students allowed into the program from the district. Stanley would have graduated from high school with an Associate’s Degree. Stanley was an avid gamer. He also loved Asian culture, animals, and music. He was an enthusiastic junior astronomer who loved the stars and space. Besides his parents, Stanley is survived by his brother, Frankie “Nash” Geddings; half-sisters, Lily Robinstow and Jenny Sutter; maternal grandparents, Mark and Donna Smith; great-grandmother, Betty Brown; honorary grandparents, Rich and Joyce Robbins; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dogs, Buster and Abby. Stanley was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Stanley and Debbie Geddings. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Stanley’s friends for their love and support.
