Sonja Vega Resto

Sonja Vega Resto, 60, of Lexington, passed away January 1, 2020, with her family by her side. She was born to Jacob and Frieda Wild, July 8, 1959, in Munich,Bavaria. Sonja graduated from nursing school in the early 80s. She married Jose (Joe) Vega Resto in 1978, and they lived together in Bamberg, Germany for a few years before he was relocating back to the USA. Sonja is survived by two children: Daniel Jones, of Lexington; Sonja Vega-Resto, of Germany. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren. Sonja was an accomplished Nurse, working for private clinics for over 30 years with the passion to help people. Sonja was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at 4 p.m. at the Victory Bible Baptist Church, 10245 Broad River Rd, Irmo, SC 29063.
