Scott T. Mccauley

The funeral service for Scott Thomas McCauley (62) of Columbia will be held on Friday, August 20th, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Michael Lutheran Church, 400 River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212.Inurnment will follow in the Church cemetery. Reverend Frank W. Anderson and The Rev. Dr. Herman R. Yoos, III will officiate. Scott was born in Charlotte, NC on March 19th, 1959 and passed away on August 10th, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.He was the son of the late John F. McCauley and Charlotte Fulbright McCauley.Scott was a devoted member of St. Michael Lutheran Church.He was the owner of McCauley Lawn Care and had been a welder for many years. Survivors include: his loving wife of 28 years, Caroline Eaton McCauley of the home, brother; John (Beth) McCauley, Raleigh, NC, sisters; Sally McCauley, Charlotte, NC, Gigi (Stan) Hankins, Cary, NC, nieces; Ashley McCauley and fiancé Parker Ennis, Marijean Hankins; nephews: Conner (Tiffany) McCauley, Stan Hankins; great nieces: Melani and Karelia McCauley, special friends; Alan (Vicky) Huggins, Anne Van Atten, and Amy Newton. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials should be made to St. Michael Lutheran Church or the ALS Foundation at 1300 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22209 in Scott’s memory.
