Lexington—Funeral services for Samantha Ann Holland, 49, of Lexington, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with Pastor Bobby Spivey officiating.Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on the day of the service. Born in Charleston, SC on December 11, 1968 she was the daughter of Harold Franklin Spivey II of Columbia, SC and Sally Ann Gass (James III) of Batesburg, SC. She was a proud graduate of Irmo High School and Midlands Tech/USC-Salkehatchie.Samantha will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always placed others ahead of herself.She was known as the “light” in every room by her family. Surviving in addition to her loving husband of 6 yrs., Nigel “Buddy” Bruce Holland, Jr.; daughters, Amanda Murdaugh (Jacob) of Charleston, SC and Abigail Leigh McGillivray of Columbia, SC; brothers, Harold Spivey III (Kendra ) of Dewar, Iowa, Pastor Robert“Bobby” Spivey (Shelah) of Leesville, SC and James Gass IV (Chrissy) of West Palm Beach, FL; andgrandson, Wyatt Murdaugh and beloved family dogs, Markie and Raina.
