WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Ruby G. Davis, 78, of West Columbia, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2017 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with burial to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The family will greet friends from 12-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis, beloved wife of the late Ben Davis, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.She was born in Bishopville, SC and was the daughter of the late Basil Grantham and Lillie Mae Gilbert Grantham.She retired after 30 years from SC Tax Commission Office and from her second career, she retired after 15 years from Doctors Care.Ruby loved to travel, take Cruises, garden and growing beautiful flowers. Surviving are her sons, Chuck Davis (Grace) of West Columbia and Tim Davis (Linda Montgomery) of Lake Wateree; sisters, Mary Morgan and Geraldine Grantham both of Elgin; along with several nieces and nephews.
