Roger David Gagnon

A Memorial Mass for Roger David Gagnon, 83, of Columbia, will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.Reverend Peter Sousa, C.Ss.R. will officiate. Roger was born in Frenchville, ME to the late David Gagnon and Ava Daigle Gagnon. He passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.Roger proudly served in the United States Army.He loved the land and worked as a farmer most of his life. Roger was a member of Our Lady of the Hills since 2009, formerly from Maine.He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and the Volunteer Fire Department. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, godfather, and friend. Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Ellen Marie Chasse Gagnon; daughter, Gina Cosola (Vito); son, Rodney Gagnon; five grandchildren, Ashley Cosola, Tori Gagnon, Christina Cosola, Nicholle Cosola, and Robert Cosola; sister, Jacqueline Paradis (Bert); brother, Lloyd Gagnon; along with many nieces and nephews.Roger was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Rowena Husar, Rena Richard, Ruth Cyr, and Doreen Keith.
