Roger Dale Drawdy, Sr.

Services for Roger Dale Drawdy, Sr., 70, of 109 Terra Drive, Lexington, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Taylor Street Baptist Church, 1000 Hafley Court, Cayce, SC. The service will be officiated by Sherwood Tidwell and Almond Chavis. Mr. Drawdy died Thursday, August 15, 2024. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Luther Drawdy and Mary Frier Drawdy. He was a retired employee of Senn Gulf. In his spare time, he loved to fish and tinker on small engines. He loved to sing karaoke at family gatherings. Surviving are his sons, Roger Drawdy, Jr. (Kimberly Deloach), David C. Drawdy, and John "Phillip" Drawdy (Amanda Catoe) of Lexington, SC; and his daughter, Heather M. Drawdy (Jacob) of Gaston, SC. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Tidwell, Deborah Hart (Sidney), and Brenda Gantt (Ernie), all of Lexington, and Diane Reed of Cayce. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald E. Drawdy, Marvin L. Drawdy, Sr., and Cathy Alves. Mr. Drawdy is survived by his grandchildren, Kristen, Vaughn, Blaine, Janna, Ledger, Zane, Maddison, Catoe, Montana, Kara, Loghan, Alyssa, and Holly; and his great-grandchildren, Langston and Alaina. Mr. Drawdy has numerous nephews and nieces. He passed with lots of love and family and friends by his side.
