Robert Ashley Stafford

A Service of Remembrance for Robert Ashley Stafford, Sr. will be held on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel at Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Robert was born on February 3rd, 1969 in Columbia, SC, to Harry Austin Stafford and Mary Linda Horn (Jerry) and passed away on March 25th, 2022. He had resided in Columbia his whole life and was an electrician for over 30 years. Robert retired in 2018 due to health issues. He was an avid Gamecock and NASCAR fan that loved his family immensely. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to mourn his loss include his wife, Stacy Jean Stafford, their children; Randie Stafford, Austin Stafford (Courtney), and Colton Shealy, siblings; Ronald Stafford (Dina) and Dana Price (Glenn), grandchildren; Courtney, Harper, and Harlon, and many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his son, Robert Stafford, Jr. and his grandparents. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Dr # 301, Cayce, SC 29033 in Robert’s honor.
