Robert Mark Rowe

COLUMBIA—Robert Mark "Bob" Rowe, 55, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, he was the son of Ida Ann (Hammerbeck) Rowe and the late Dr. Richard George Rowe.Robert spent his childhood in Northern Minnesota, primarily in Duluth, and, as an adult, lived in California, Kansas, Washington, and North Carolina while managing resort properties.He was also an actor, professionally trained by Lee Strasberg in New York City, and played in small movies, stage plays, and television.He enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings.He moved to Columbia, South Carolina, in 2011 to be close to family, which was the highest priority of his life.Robert is survived by his daughters Brittany Rowe and Rebecca Rowe Stone, grandchildren William and Olivia Rowe, brothers Jeffrey, Gregory, and Steven Rowe, and sister Cheryl Rowe Coble.
