WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Robert Franklin Day, Jr., 68 of West Columbia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2015 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.Reverend Paul Allen will officiate.Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Day, beloved husband of Sandi Marie Day passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016.Born in Pasco, Washington, he was the son of the late Robert Franklin Day and Norma Alexander Day. Mr. Day proudly served in the Army National Guard.He worked as a Logistics Supervisor for Koyo Corporation of USA prior to his retirement in 2009. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife Sandi Day of West Columbia; son, Robert Franklin Day III of Atlanta, GA; step-daughter, Kelly Miles (Billy) of Lexington; brother, James Alexander Day (Rebecca) of Chapin; step-grandchildren, Trey Lee and Mikayla Smith.Mr. Day was preceded in death by two brothers, John O. Day and William E. Day.
