Richard Allen Roshto

A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard Allen Roshto will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, 120 Marydale Lane, Columbia, SC 29210 on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 2:30 p.m.There will be a Rosary/Visitation from 1:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. at the church. Officiating is Reverend Blas Caceres, C.Ss.R. Richard was born on August 3, 1944, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and departed this earthly life on January 4, 2022.He was the son of the late Frank Roshto, Sr., and Alice Marie Davenport Roshto.Richard was a member of our Lady of the Hills Catholic church where he sang in the Church Choir and was also active in the Knights of Columbus. The family will miss his tenderness, kindness, and most of all his sense of humor. Survivors include his loving wife, Diane Lee Roshto; daughter, Chantelle Cormier (Jeff) of Irmo; son, Brandon Roshto (Linda) of Lexington; sister, Dianne Gustafson (Chuck) of Green Bay, Wisconsin; brother, Frank Roshto, Jr., (Ellen) ofValparaiso, FL; brother-in-law, Ken Farr (Lisa); along with numerous nieces and nephew which he loved dearly.Those who preceded him in death, besides his parents, was one sister, Jan Farr.
