Peter James Calamas,

Peter James Calamas Jr., 62, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019. He was born on July 7, 1957 in Sherman, TX. He graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, SC in 1979 as a member of the corps of cadets in F Troop. Pete was an avid golfer, a voracious reader and thoroughly enjoyed spending time at family events, especially game nights. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kathy; his daughter, Kelly Team (Ryan); a brother, Mike Calamas (Cathy) of Lexington, SC; a sister, Terri McGarrigle (Danny) of Columbia, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12th at 2:00pm at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Lexington, SC. Visitation with the family will follow from 3:00pm-4:00pm at the church.
