Peggy Gibson Mclaurin

IRMO—A graveside service for Peggy Gibson McLaurin, 83, formerly of Irmo, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 in Wedgefield Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 50 Presbyterian Drive, Wedgefield, SC 29168.Reverend Jody Foster will be officiating. Peggy McLaurin, beloved wife of 60 years, to the late Alexander Harrison McLaurin passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at The Heritage at Lowman Home, born in Westminster, SC to the late Warley L. Gibson and Ethel Blakely Gibson.She was a 1952 graduate of Lander College and former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.She enjoyed playing Bridge, cooking, needlepoint and traveling with her extended family. Surviving are her daughters, Debbie McDermott (Michael) of Lexington and Susan Foster (Jim) of Easley; son, David McLaurin of North Myrtle Beach; and her loving grandchildren, Alex and Sam McDermott; one sister and two brothers. Memorials may be made in Peggy’s honor to Wedgefield Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 50 Presbyterian Drive, Wedgefield, SC 29168.
