LEXINGTON—The funeral service for Paula Franklin Harrison, 64, of Lexington, will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.The service will be in the chapel of Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, S.C. 29212 with The Reverend Dr. Mark Bredholt officiating.The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Born in Florence, S.C. on October 12, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James Henry Franklin and Sue Waring Franklin.The family later moved to Columbia where she attended Hammond Academy. Paula was employed at Columbia International University for many years and it was there where she became grounded in God’s love. As a young woman she always had a twinkle in her eyes, was full of life and a true beauty to all who knew her.However, her greatest legacy is her self-sacrificing devotion to her son, Jamie Nash. Survivors include son, Collin James Waring Nash; sisters, Brenda Franklin Jones (Sonny) of Columbia and Amanda Franklin Allen (Bill) of Irmo; as well as a number of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents.
