Paul Russell Clayton

The funeral service for Paul Russell Clayton, 37, of Moore, SC, formerly of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Riverland Hills Baptist Church with the Reverend Bill Haselden officiating. The Clayton family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:50 a.m. in the sanctuary. Interment will follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens. Paul was born on April 20, 1986, in Columbia to Frank Thomas Clayton and Diane Gates Clayton. He was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Paul was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church, a proud graduate of Irmo High School as well as the University of South Carolina with a degree in Music Education. Paul was a passionate man whose love of his family, music, golf, Legos and the Carolina Gamecocks was evident to all who met him. Besides his parents, Paul is survived by his loving wife of twelve years, Caroline Warren Clayton of Moore, SC; his son Whitt Russell Clayton of the home; sister, Kelly Elaine Clayton of Irmo; and his twin brother, Patrick Thomas Clayton (Natalie) of Inman, SC. He is also survived by his grandmother, Valerie Clayton of Jacksonville, FL; nieces, Blakely and Molly; and nephews, Nathan, Harrison, and Logan as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
