Patsy Hobbs Freeze

The funeral service for Patsy Hobbs Freeze, 85, of Lexington, will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at noon at Lexington Presbyterian Church, 246 Barr Road, Lexington, SC 29072.Reverend Chuck Parker will officiate.The Freeze family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Patsy was born on January 31, 1936, in Kannapolis, NC, and departed this life on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at her home.She was the daughter of the late Robert H. Hobbs and Ethel Widenhouse Hobbs.Patsy was a graduate of High Point College with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education.She and her devoted husband, Hugh, have resided in this area since 1989.Patsy was an active member of Lexington Presbyterian Church Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, C. Hugh Freeze; daughters, Lisa Pigneri (Charles) Kansas City, Kansas and Lori Watson (John) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Charles Watson, Ashley Aplspaw (Jon), and Brooke Pigneri; great-grandchild, Brooklyn Aplspaw. Those who preceded her in death besides her parents were four brothers, Buck, Harold, Ed, and Robert Hobbs.
