Columbia—Funeral services for Patricia Ann Humphries, 80, of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC.The Reverend Dr. Ed Carney will officiate.Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens.The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Ann, beloved wife of Wylie B. Humphries, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017.Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Rev. James J. Thompson, Jr. and Ruby Leona Price Thompson.She was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church.Ann was a manager at JC Penney’s Catalog Store for more then ten years.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband of 59 years, Wylie of Columbia; sons, James K. Humphries (Darlene) of Columbia, Thomas W. Humphries (Cassandra) of Ft. Worth, TX, Alan P. Humphries (Pamela) of Columbia and David A. “Tony”Humphries (Teresa) of Irmo; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; brother, James Joseph Thompson III (Sharon) of Miami, FL.
