Patricia (Patty) Edith Horn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia (Patty) Edith Horn, of Columbia, who died at 86 years old. She passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, in her home surrounded by family and friends. Patty was born in Pageton, West Virginia on November 20, 1937, to Robert Jefferson Sage and Nettie Henry Sage. She was the widow of Walt Horn. Patty enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and golf and having a good glass of wine. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her grandchildren. Patty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rubin and Kathleen L. Alley, her grandchildren, Joey Scarano, Logan Alley, and Chase Alley, and her brother, Joe Sage. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Danny Sage, Ranny Sage, Laura Hatfield, Patti Joe Brieg, Jeff Sage, and Teresa Sage Norton. Patty was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Walt Horn; her older son, Colby Alley; her older brother, Junior Sage, and her sisters, Margaret Sage and Dorothy Clements (Bill Clements). A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The Reverend Paul Allen will officiate. The family will receive friends before and after the service.
