Olivia F. (Libby) Martin

Olivia F. (Libby) Martin, 88, of West Columbia, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. She was born on December 24, 1935, in Commerce, Georgia, and was the daughter of Paul And Nanny Glenn Fagan. Libby served as the City Tax Collector for the City of Greenville before moving to Columbia with her husband. She worked for her son in his dental office for the first 15 years of his practice. Olivia loved working in her yard and watching the hummingbirds. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling. Olivia is survived by her son, Anthony C. Martin, DMD, and daughter-in-law, Megan, and her brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Sadie Fagan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Charles A. Martin, and her sisters, Frances Spence and Carol Sargent. A funeral service for Libby will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, in the chapel of Temples-Halloran Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Sizemore will officiate. The family will greet friends on the day of the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
