Narcie Rikard Shealy

Narcie Rikard Shealy, 91, of Columbia, passed away on January 5, 2021 at Carrol Campbell Place in Lexington, S.C. Mrs. Shealy was born on December 30, 1929 in Leesville, S.C. Mrs. Shealy was a member of Cayce United Methodist Church. After many years of service, Narcie retired from Howard’s Department Store.Most importantly, Narcie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Narcie was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh E. “Bill” Shealy; a son, Gerald Hugh Shealy; brothers, Alvin E. Rikard and Murray C. Rikard, Jr.; and her parents, Cleo and Murray C. Rikard, Sr. Those left to mourn her passing but celebrate her life include her daughter, Judy Shealy Stephens (Mark); granddaughter, Kelly S. Dennison (Jonathan); Grandson, Scott M. Stephens; Great grandchildren, Hayes and Ellarie Rose Dennison; sister Cile Corley (Frank); sisters in law, Betty Rikard and Bruce Rikard; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shealy’s family would like to thank the staff of Carroll Campbell Place and Morningside Assisted Living of Lexington for their loving care during her final years.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. David Lutheran Church Cemetery fund, 132 St. David’s Rd., West Columbia, S.C. 29170. A private family graveside service will be held at St. David Lutheran Church Cemetery.Temples-Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family.
