LEXINGTON—Millie Ann McGuinn went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.Ann was the daughter of the late Steven Edward and Veda Lovell. She was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin McGuinn, her oldest son, Timothy McGuinn, and two of her three sisters, Dorothy and Alberta.She is survived by her sister, Roberta and by 5 of her 6 children, Debra Savatteri, Sandy Sinclair, Wade (Janet) McGuinn, James (Julie) McGuinn and Benny McGuinn. She has 16 grandchildren, Crystal, Phil, and Marco Savatteri, Erica, JR, Jayme, Samantha Sinclair; Kim, Ashley andKelly McGuinn; Jon, Sean and Ryan McGuinn; Desiree, Tyler and Ethen McGuinn. She has 29 great-grandchildren, one Savatteri on the way…. plus Mathilda and Everly; Sinclair’s, Colin, Macie, McKenzie, Theo, Stevie, Hadley;McGuinn’s, Anna, Ali, Abbie, Connor, Jacob, Devon, Kristan, Gracie, Sawyer, Emory, Oliver, Irwin, Porter, Brielle, Mason, Paisley, Krew, Julia, Victoria and Emalyn. Grandma Ann, as she was always called, was loved by everyone she encountered. She lived most of her life in Phoenix, Arizona and raised her family there. She lived the last 22 years at Christopher Towers in Five Points. She was a member of Faith United Methodist and later Green Street United Methodist Church. Ann volunteered with Sunday school for several years before retiring with Epworth Children’s Homes. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Epworth Children Home, PO Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29205 in Ann’s honor.
