COLUMBIA—Milledge T. Pitts, Jr., 57, of Columbia, passed away March 13, 2015 in Florida while on vacation. He was born January 2, 1958 in Columbia, to Milledge T. Pitts, Sr. and Lena Mae Warthen.He was an only child.He is survived by his loving two sons, Milledge T. Pitts III “Trey” and Travis C. Pitts and the family Matriarch, their dog, Ben; the mother of his children, Barbara D. Myall. He graduated from Wildewood High, Columbia and earned his bachelors in Psychology, Wofford College.In 1996 he bought a title research company named Absolute Titles, LLC, which he proudly owned and operated.Absolute Title is a renowned and respected business in the real estate community, much like its owner was, he ran the business with high morals and dedication to serving the clients at all times.He leaves behind not only employees but family, because that is what they were and are to him.Milledge loved to work with his hands. He was beloved of all who knew him and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life for Milledge T. Pitts, Jr. will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Columbia Sail Club, 292 Shuler Road, Columbia, SC 29212.Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 will be assisting the family.
