A memorial service for Michael Wayne Williams, 52, of Columbia, was held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2014 at St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.Pastor Dwight C. Wessinger will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service at the church.Temples-Halloran Funeral & Cremation Services, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 will assist the family. Michael beloved husband of Marie Casterline Williams passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014.Born in Columbia, he was the son of Lewis Woodrow Williams and Barbara Smith Brogden.He worked for many years as a roofer in both residential and commercial construction.He attended St. Michael’s Lutheran Church. Survived by his wife of 15 years, Marie Williams; one sister and four brothers as well as a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Memorials may be made to St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
