Michael "Mike" Lynn Jaco

IRMO—Funeral services for Mike Jaco, 60, of Irmo, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2019, at Salem United Methodist Church, 1321 Salem Church Road, Irmo, SC 29063 with Reverend Gary Phillips, officiating.Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Serving as pallbearers will be, Steve Fabrizio, Jason Jaco, Dalton Jaco, and Sebastian Snyder. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall at the church.Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mike passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.He was born on September 25, 1958, to the Betty Elliott Jaco and the late Kenneth R. Jaco.He was a graduate of Irmo High School and attended Midlands Tech. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.Mike enjoyed fishing and loved hanging with his family, playing with his grandson as well as his grand-dogs. Surviving are his mother, Betty Elliott Jaco; daughter, Kayla Jaco; son, Jared Jaco; grandson, Huntlee Jaco; brother, Ronnie Jaco (Kim) and nephew, Jason Jaco; niece, Jennifer Snyder (Jason): great-nephews, Sebastian Snyder, Dalton Jaco, Kaiden Jaco; and great-niece, Zoe Snyder. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth R. Jaco and a brother, Glenn Jaco. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 1321 Salem Church Road, Irmo, SC 29063.
