Michael Amick

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael Amick of Columbia, South Carolina on November 16, 2021, at the age of 62. Michael graduated from Columbia High School and earned an associate degree from Midlands Technical College. Michael retired from the City of Columbia and lived with his wife in Myrtle Beach for the past 4 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 5 years, Dottie; son, Luke; parents, LeNair and Ann; sister, LeAnne Ballentine (Chet), as well as nieces and nephews, AshleyAnne McMullan (Jared) and their baby daughter, NoraAnne, Zachary, Grayson and Allyson Ballentine. Michael was preceded in death by his son, Jacob. Family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Life service on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Rd. Columbia, SC 29212. Visitation begins at 10:00 am followed by the service at 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
