Meredith Joy Gunter-Minick

A funeral service for Meredith Joy Gunter-Minick, 45, of Columbia, will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Riverland Hills Baptist Church, 201 Lake Murray Blvd., Irmo, SC 29063.Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 pm. at the church.The Reverend Bart Cook and Reverend Mark Powers will officiate. Meredith was born in West Columbia on June 7, 1975, to James Donelan Gunter and Donna Marie Williams Gunter. She passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Lexington Medical Center.She was a 1993 graduate of Irmo High and Midland Tech.She worked as a Preschool Teacher for 12 years. She also worked for Apple Plumbing Service as their bookkeeper for 5 years.Meredith loved to travel and going to Disney World, and also enjoyed scrapbooking. She was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. She is survived by her parents, James Donelan Gunter and Donna Williams Gunter; son, James Alexander Minick; brother, Christopher Floyd Gunter (Heather); nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Olivia, Charlotte, Hunter, and Spencer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverland Hills Baptist Church, Mission Fund, 201 Lake Murray Blvd., Irmo, SC 29063.
