COLUMBIA-Mary Evelyn Green Oltman died July 15, 2015 at Parkridge Hospital in Columbia, SC.A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 735 Old Lexington Highway, Chapin, SC29036. The family will receive friends following the service. Mary Evelyn was born on November 20, 1935 in Greenville, SC, the daughter of Paul W.Green and Mary Evelyn Lively Green. She attended Furman University and retired from the University of South Carolina after 28 years. She was the widow of A. Gordon Oltman, Jr. and a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include two brothers, Paul William Green, Jr. (Ann) of Greer, SC and David V. Green of Camden, SC, a son, A. Gordon Oltman, III (Mindy) of Chapin, SC, three daughters, Mimi Wade (John) of Columbia, SC, Julie Goettee (Jack) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Annette Jordan (Jimmy) of Lexington, SC and eight grandchildren, Ali and Summer Oltman, Emily and Catie Wade, Matt and Scott Goettee and Ryan and Ashley Jordan.
