Mary Frances Joiner

The funeral service for Mary Frances Joiner, 81, of Prosperity will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00AM in the chapel of the Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. The interment will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will host a visitation on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Mary Frances was born on February 12, 1937 to the late Columbus Dayton Dyar and Flora Geneva McAbee Dyar in Anderson, SC. She passed away on Saturday at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a longtime member of the Wightman United Methodist Church in Prosperity and had retired from Allied Chemical after 20 plus years of dedicated service. Mary Frances will be remembered as a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother by her adoring family. Survivors include: Loving husband of 64 years, Wilbur L. Joiner; Daughters, Beverly Heinly (Gary) Chapin, Rhonda Thompson (Andy) Lexington, Wanda Johnson (Keith) Newberry, Patsy Sealey (Steve) White Rock; Sons, Barney Lee Joiner of Chapin, William D. Joiner (Renee) Prosperity, Jonathan E. Joiner (Ashley) Little Mountain; Sisters, Carolyn Broach (Jimmy) and Brenda Turner. Also, there are 17 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Those who preceded her in death, besides her parents, is one son, Dayton E. Joiner.
