Marvin C. "Bill" Davis

Marvin “Bill” C. Davis gained his wings to be with our Heavenly Father on July 26, 2023. He was born in Union County, SC, one of four children of Leroy Davis and Grace Davis. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all who knew him and he will be deeply missed. Surviving are his stepchildren, Al (Rose) Chavious, Rainey (Harry) Johnson, Daphney “Nokie” Davis, Sandy (Steve) Powell, Elizabeth “Liz” Skinner, Dorothy “Lucky” Thompson and Jessica Spires, as well as dozens of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Davis, along with his two siblings,Thomas Davis, and Brenda Davis, his beloved wife, Lessie C. Davis along with two stepchildren, Lloyd Koon and Betty "Tiny" Koon. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home (5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212). The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
