Martha Delgado

A celebration of life event for Martha Delgado, 87, of Columbia, will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the Historic Leitner House, 7302 Woodrow St, Irmo, SC 29063. Martha was born in Colombia, South America, on May 4, 1934, to Jose de Jesus Delgado and Maria Alicia Sanchez.Martha passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. She attended Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, Irmo (Spanish Congregation). She loved reading, learning, painting, and playing the piano. Ms. Delgado loved Jehovah, reading the Bible, and always looking her best.She had eclectic tastes, diverse interests, and loved to share everything she owned, from knowledge to chocolate. Surviving are her daughter, Luz Bouleris (Jim); son, Jose Luis Vega; brother, Oscar Alberto Delgado; grandchild, Sophia Bouleris; along with many, many nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her twin sister, Magdalena Delgado; older sister, Angela Maria Delgado, and her youngest brother, Jose Maria Delgado.
