COLUMBIA—Marsha Louise McMullen, 68, of Columbia died peacefully at Lexington Medical Center on Monday, March 21, 2016.Born on January 12, 1948 in Frankfurt, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Loyde Maxwell and Mae Louise Mattheus Maxwell. Marsha graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Alexandria, VA.She worked for many years at Capital Loan in downtown Columbia and later assisted her late husband in his business that they operated.She ran her own creative enterprises which included jewelry making as well as arts and crafts ventures.She was a member of the Yacht Cove Community Church and also hosted their Bible study group. Surviving are her son, G. Michael Washburn II (Jamie) of Lexington; daughter, Kelly Wagner (Daniel) of Woodbine, GA; sister, Lynn Keen (Jim) of Richmond Hill, GA; grandchildren, Michaela Washburn, Max Washburn, Maddie Belle Wagner and Caroline Wagner; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Also the beloved family dog, Hershey. Mrs. McMullen was preceded in death by her husband, John D. McMullen and son, Patrick McMullen. Funeral services for Marsha L. McMullen will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with burial to follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Marcia Kolberg will officiate.The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W.
