Marlyn W. Hardee

Marlyn W. Hardee, 84, of Irmo, SC passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023. Born in Loris, SC, she was the daughter of the late William D. Watson and Nina L. Watson. Marlyn was a retired cashier at Piccadilly Cafeteria and was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Greg Hardee (Cindy) of Irmo and Karen Whitaker (Gary) of Ewing, MO. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jimmy Hardee, Andrea Kleinschmidt, Amy Whitaker, Phillip Whitaker, Amber Yonkers, Amanda Yonkers, Ainsley Price and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmy Hardee and siblings, Carol Bohanna, Hybert Watson, Arlese Watson, Johnny Watson, Frank Watson, Helen Holmes, Elton Watson and Nell James. Visitation will be held at Temples-Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC, 29212, on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 10am to 11am. The funeral service for Marlyn will be held at 11am, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, in the Chapel of Temples-Halloran Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens in Columbia, SC. The service will be conducted by Chaplain David Demming. Marlyn was a sweet and giving person and will be missed by family and many friends.
