Marjorie J. Wall, 85, of Columbia, SC passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021. She was born on July 10, 1935, in Spartanburg, SC to the late Earle Bomar and Ora Gregory Johnson. She married Marvin Walker Wall on July 8, 1953. They were married for 56 years. He preceded her in death in 2009. She graduated from Boiling Springs High School, Class of 1953. She was a homemaker. She was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Irmo. Marjorie is survived by her daughters; Cathy (Earl) Monts, Susan Craft, and Nancy Hoover; grandchildren, Jamie (Connie) Monts, Joey (Kristen) Monts, Christy (Daryl) Hooker, Jason (Jenn) Craft, Kimberly Craft, Melissa Craft, Emily (Michael) Beverly, and Lindsay Still; great-grandchildren, Maria McClive, Katy and Caroline Hooker, Autumn and Patrick Beverly, Landon Craft, Hazel Craft, Evan, and Jordan Still; a special brother-in-law, John Wall, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was also preceded in death by three sisters; Ora and Flora Johnson and Clara Sizemore; a special niece, Jane Ritz; two nephews, Douglas and Roger Wall. A graveside service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Due to the COVID-19 virus, we require everyone to wear a mask and social distance. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Irmo, 7068 Nursery Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
