Louise "Weezie" K. Davis

IRMO—Funeral services for Louise “Weezie” K. Davis, 85, of Irmo will be held at11:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at St. Andrews Baptist Church, 230 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29210. The Reverend Dr. Ronald “Dee” Vaughan will officiate. Burial will be private.The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.Temples Halloran Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mrs. Davis, beloved wife of 53 years to the late Robert C. Davis, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.Born in Cope, SC she was the daughter of the late, Maddie Kittrell and Mary Kittrell.Louise and Robert made their home on Lake Murray in the mid 1960’s. She loved bowling, reading and playing cards, especially Bridge.In her later years in life she loved volunteering, especially at The Therapy Place. Surviving are her children, Dale Kerwin (Joseph) of West Columbia, Robert C. Davis, Jr.(Caroline) of Chapin; and special granddaughter, Dawn Darby (James) of Columbia, whom she helped raise;9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Cooper Morrow; 6 brothers and many four-legged friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to The Therapy Place, 3620 Covenant Road, Columbia, SC 29204.
