Lois Hattie Elsie Hermann

COLUMBIA—Lois Hattie Elsie Hermann, 92, a native of Chicago, died at her home in Columbia on Sunday evening June 14, 2015.Born February 14, 1923, Lois was the daughter of the late Louis Hall and Alma Lemke Hall. She was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Irmo and taught English at Luther High School North in Chicago for 30 years. Survivors are her daughter, Lisa L. Sizemore (Paul) of Columbia; son, Mark Hermann (Lisa) of Chicago; six grandchildren, Katrina Folks (Will), Martin Steinborn, Brittany Duncan (Andrew), Karl Steinborn, Eric Hermann and Dieter Steinborn.Mrs. Hermann is predeceased by her husband, Frederick B. Hermann and by her son, Bruce Frederick Hermann. The family expresses special thanks to Mrs. Cynthia Tucker for her loving care to our family and Lois during her last years. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Temples Halloran Funeral Home, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 on Wednesday evening, June 17, 2015 from 6-8:00 p.m.The funeral service will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenview, IL on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Mt.
