Lois A. Barrett

COLUMBIA—Lois Barrett was born, January 1, 1943 in Camden, South Carolina.She was the daughter of the late Hade and Annie Barrett.She departed this life on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC.She attended the public schools of Kershaw County.Lois was employed at Allied Chemical until retirement.Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved and knew her. She leaves her partner, Izetta Wright and step-son, Jarvis Hurst both of Columbia; brother, Marvin Barrett (Cherie) of Camden, SC; sister-in-law, Bobbi Barrett. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Billy Barrett. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 at Temples Halloran Funeral Home Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
