Kristen Noel Monts

Kristen Noel Monts, of Chapin, SC, passed away unexpectedly of a broken heart on May 31, 2024. Kristen was born June 29, 1984, in North Tonawanda, New York. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind her daughter, Maria; her parents, Duncan and Karen McClive; her siblings Cameron (Kayla) McClive, Courtney (Jamie) Kelso, Chelsea Wolfe, Dustin (Ashley) McClive; in-laws Earl and Cathy Monts; brother-in-law, Jamie (Connie) Monts; and sister-in-law, Christy (Daryl) Hooker. Aunt “Kiki” leaves behind nephews, Conner, Riley, E. Duncan, Carter, Nolan, and Shawn; as well as nieces Lindsey, Aubrey, Everest, Katy, Caroline, and Samantha. Joey Monts, her husband of 13 years, unexpectedly passed away 2 months ago. They were huge Clemson fans and enjoyed watching football and NASCAR with their cat, Luna. Kristen worked at Carolina Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry as a dental assistant for several years. She always knew that she wanted to be a dental assistant and Dr. Marshall Fields gave her the opportunity to fulfill her dream. Kristen’s sense of humor and smiling face will be missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Kristen will be laid to rest at a private graveside service.
